Banking services in Bulgaria are not very different from those abroad, although here the use of check books is still not popular. The use of personal bank account for an individual makes it easy as to not carry large sums of cash yourself.

Any person is entitled to as much as he/she wishes personal bank accounts in one or different banks in Bulgaria. Any personal bank account can be associated with one or more debit cards that can be used internationally. Each card has a daily and weekly limit.

In each bank in Bulgaria there is a fee for opening a personal account and a monthly service fee by the bank. You can send money to your account in Bulgaria from abroad. In a personal bank account an individual stores money for personal purposes.

The personal bank account can be used only by the owner or an authorized by him/her person with Power of Attorney. You can get internet banking as an additional service to your bank account.

This type of bank account can be closed at any time by the owner or the authorized to do so person. Personal bank account is not for carrying on business!
